Since its creation in 1980, the Festival Internacional Jazz Plaza has been a showcase for the most famous jazz instrumentalists, including artists such as Chucho Valdés, Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Hancock, Arturo O'Farrill, Snarky Puppy, Pedrito Martínez, Antonio Sánchez, Christian McBride and Stefan Johnson.
The 41st edition of Jazz Plaza will be celebrated from February 25th to February 1st 2026 and is promised to be an even more enriching event, with more than 70 confirmed international artists to date, coming from countries such as United States, Brazil, China, Lithuania, Suecia, United Kingdom, Spain, Mexico, Russia, France, Lower Countries, Colombia, Argentina, Austria and Italy. Prestigious Cuban artists of renown and international travel will also be present: Roberto Fonseca, Ernán López Nussa, Ignacio "Nachito" Herrera, Frank Fernández, Harold López Nussa, Jorge Reyes, Dayramir González, Rolando Luna, Rodney Barreto, Oliver Valdés, Alejandro Falcón, Marialy Pacheco, Yilian Cañizares, among many other Cuban talents.
