HAVANA

 

DAY 1. City tour with a visit to the Historic Center of Old Havana, a World Heritage Site. Visit to Havana's squares: Cathedral Square, Plaza de Armas, Plaza de San Francisco de Asís, and Plaza Vieja. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, a panoramic tour of the Capitol, Central Park, Fraternidad Park, and Revolution Square will take place in antique cars. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay via T.O.

 

HAVANA - LAS TERRAZAS - HAVANA

 

DAY 2. Departure for Las Terrazas, an ecological project located in the Sierra del Rosario, declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, where you will enjoy the Cuban flora and fauna and the beauty of the area. You will visit the La Moka Hotel, a unique facility nestled in the forest. Visit the La Unión Hacienda, with its beautiful tropical garden. Travel to the partially reconstructed ruins of Cafetal Buenavista, a 19th-century coffee plantation, where you will learn about the history of the site and the coffee processing process at that time. You will connect with the community, visiting the Town Square and its socio-cultural facilities, with the opportunity to taste exquisite Cuban coffee at María's house (not included). You will visit the silkscreen printing workshop, where you will learn about this work and the craftsmanship developed there, with the opportunity to purchase various items. Lunch will be served in the area and, if desired, time to swim in the San Juan River. Return to the hotel in Havana. (via T.O.)

 

HAVANA – SANTA CLARA – TRINIDAD

 

DAY 3. Departure for Santa Clara, a city located in the center of Cuba. Visit to the Mausoleum of Commander Ernesto Che Guevara to admire the different moments in the life and work of the Heroic Guerrilla. Tour of the city's Historic and Cultural Center with panoramic views of the La Caridad Theater, the Museum of Decorative Arts, and the former Government Palace. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit to the Armored Train Monument, a historical memorial to one of the most important actions fought during the revolutionary struggle. Visit to the work of Basque artist Casto Solano known as "Che de los niños," a 2-meter-high sculpture that allows for interaction with this important Cuban-Argentine historical figure. Accommodation and dinner at the selected hotel.

 

TRINIDAD

 

DAY 4. Breakfast. Tour of the city of Trinidad, a city frozen in time. Visit to the Plaza Mayor; the Romantic Museum; the Church of the Holy Trinity; La Canchánchara Bar, with its typical welcome cocktail; and a ceramics workshop. Lunch at a local restaurant. Free time in the city. Return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight at leisure.

TRINIDAD - CIENFUEGOS – VARADERO AND/OR HAVANA.

 

DAY 5. Breakfast. Departure for Varadero. During the transit, tour the city of Cienfuegos, known as the Pearl of the South. Tour its streets and avenues founded by the French. It is located in a beautiful bay, home to the largest coral reef in Cuba yet discovered, named after Notre Dame. Panoramic visit to Martí Park, the Tomas Terry Theater, the House of Cultural Assets, and the Immaculate Conception Cathedral. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue the trip to Varadero or Havana, depending on the hotel selected. (by T.O.)
