HAVANA – LAS TERRAZAS – VIÑALES
DAY 1. Breakfast. Pick-up at hotel. Excursion to Las Terrazas, an ecological project located in the Sierra del Rosario, declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, where you will enjoy the Cuban flora and fauna and the beauty of the area. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed at Rancho Curujey, where you will enjoy a welcome cocktail accompanied by a local traditional Cuban music group. An explanation of the social project being developed in this area, supported by illustrative images. Visit to the Las Terrazas Community, walk through the Callejón de la Moka, and taste a Creole coffee. Visit to the Buenavista coffee plantation, a partially restored 19th-century coffee plantation. Lunch at one of the complex's restaurants. Visit to the San Juan River with free time to enjoy a refreshing swim. Continue the trip to Viñales. Accommodation and dinner at the resort hotel. Free night.
VIÑALES
DAY 2. Breakfast at the hotel. Tour of the Viñales Valley, declared a UNESCO Protected Cultural Landscape and a National Monument. Visit a farmer's farm. The tour includes the Tobacco Route, allowing you to enjoy an interactive experience of all the stages of the tobacco industry, from the plantations, the drying process in the valley, the destemming, and the rolling of the tobacco. Visit the Mural of Prehistory, one of the most important open-air frescoes in the world, which recreates the natural evolution of life in Cuba on the side of a mogote. Lunch at a local restaurant. Then, visit the Mirador de los Jazmines, where you can admire a spectacular view of the Viñales Valley. Optional visit (not included) to the Cueva del Indio (Indian Cave), with a boat ride through the cave on the river that runs through it. Accommodation and dinner at the resort hotel. Evening at leisure.
VIÑALES – SOROA – HAVANA
DAY 3. Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Havana. In transit, tour Soroa with a visit to the Orchidarium, which houses the largest and most diverse collection of these specimens in Cuba, with some 130 native species and 700 from tropical and subtropical regions around the world. Visit to the 22-meter-high Soroa Falls, considered one of the wonders of Cuban geography. Lunch at a local restaurant. At the end, departure for Havana. Accommodation at the selected hotel.
