The "TROPICANA" cabaret was built in 1939 in the "Marianao" area of Havana, Cuba. The performances of "Tropicana" have been acclaimed around the world. In 1992, the stellar Mexican television space La movida was broadcast to all of Hispano-America from that forest that for many is the 'Tropicana' cabaret. In that same year 'Tropicana' was distinguished by the North American Academy of the Restaurant Industry with the coveted Best of the Best Five Star Diamond award.
