RELEVANT INFORMATION

It is a necessary requirement for the acquisition of the products offered on this site, to read and accept the following Terms and Conditions which are written below. The use of our services and the purchase of our products will imply having read and accepted the Terms and Conditions of Use in this document. All the products offered by our website could be created, collected, sent or presented by a third website and in such case they would be subject to their own terms and conditions. The prices of the services offered on this page are valid only for purchases made on this site. All the rates that appear on this site are valid only on the day of your quote, they can change without notice and are guaranteed only upon receipt of the corresponding payment, all reservations are subject to availability so they are valid at the time the total payment is performed by the customer.

 

MODIFICATIONS OF SERVICES AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

If a cancellation is made before payment is made, no additional charge will be applied and the reservation will be automatically canceled by our system.

It is possible to cancel the reservation at any time, provided the cancellation request is made at least 72 hours before the start of the most immediate chronological service included in the booking. Below are the cancellation conditions for each of the services. Proceeding with the booking you will expressly accept these conditions.

If after starting the service you decide not to use part of the days / nights contracted, we will not accept any refund request.

Although it is not likely that we will make changes, Distal Caribe reserves the right to change the cancellation terms at any time without notice. You agree that the cancellation will be subject to the charges applicable at the time of the cancellation request.

Distal Caribe will not refund money on any credit card other than the one used by you in the booking process. If the refund process is made by bank transfer, we will deduct any additional bank charges from the total amount to be reimbursed.

 

HOTELS

Hotels will provide accommodation to the person in whose name the booking was made and to the exact number of accompanying persons, adults and / or children, who were included in the booking for each room. The booking holder must be present at the time of registration.

Children's policy

  • Children up to 1.99 years are exempt from payment and are considered as newborns.
  • Children's prices will be confirmed during the booking process.
  • The price for children is applicable for children between 2 and 11.99 years old.
  • Children aged 12 or over must always book as adults.

 

Cancellations and changes made by the customer

  • If you cancel a reservation 7 days or more before the scheduled arrival date, we will refund the total amount of the reservation.
  • If you cancel a reservation after 7 days before the scheduled arrival date, we will refund the total amount of the reservation minus a charge equivalent at 10% of the value of the reservation.
  • If you cancel a reservation or part of it 48 hours before your arrival or after it, we will not accept any refund request.
  • If the customer does not show up on the day of booking, this reservation will be considered automatically canceled and no request for a refund will be presented.

Accommodation is normally available from 4:00 pm on the day of arrival until 12:00 am on the day of departure. You can usually access this information in the hotel / resort description on our website by contacting us or directly with the hotel. Reservations are guaranteed if you arrive late at the hotel. The number of people allowed in each room of the hotel / resort is limited to the number of people specified in the reservation.

 

CAR RENT

In addition to the price to be paid to Distal Caribe (this amount includes daily rental insurance), the following payments must be paid directly to the rental office in the country's currency:

  • Security deposit (this deposit can be made in cash or with a copy of the credit card and is returned in full upon return of the car).
  • Advance payment of the fuel delivered (the vehicle must be returned with an empty tank because the rental company will not refund the money for the remaining fuel).
  • Supplement for bookings ending at airports.
  • Additional driver.
  • Delivery surcharge for different destinations (drop-off).

When collecting the car, it is mandatory to present:

  • The confirmation voucher.
  • Passport or identity document.
  • Driving license valid for all drivers (the driving license must be valid for the entire rental period and be over one year old).

In case of failure to present previous documents, the reservation will be considered "no show" and therefore we will not accept any request for a refund.

 

Cancellations and changes made by the customer

If you cancel a reservation within 15 days of the scheduled collection date, we will refund the total amount of the reservation.

If you cancel a reservation 15 days before the scheduled collection date, we will refund the total amount of the booking minus 2 days of rent.

If you cancel a reservation 7 days before the scheduled collection date, we will not accept any refund request.

If you cancel a reservation or part of it on the day of collection or later, we will not accept any refund request and we will not be considered in any way.

If the customer does not show up on the day of booking, this reservation will be considered automatically canceled and we will not accept any request for a refund.

 

TRANSFERS

The descriptions of the transfers are taken from the information provided by the service provider and therefore Distal Caribe accepts no responsibility for any inaccuracy in said information. No responsibility will be accepted for changes that have not been communicated to us by the supplier

CIRCUITS /TOURIST PACKAGES /EXCURSIONS

The descriptions of the circuits are taken from the information provided by the service provider and therefore Distal Caribe assumes no responsibility for any inaccuracies in such information. No responsibility will be accepted for changes that have not been communicated to us by the supplier.

 

Cancellations and changes made by the customer

If you cancel a reservation within 2 days of the start of the service, we will refund the total amount of the reservation.

If you cancel a reservation 2 days before the start of the service, we will not accept any refund request.

Modifications must be made at least 72 hours before the start of the service.

In the case of Tours or packages that have domestic flights included, the penalty of those tickets will be applied according to the Flight cancellation conditions.

If the customer does not show up on the day of booking, this reservation will be considered automatically canceled and we will not accept any request for a refund.

 

INTERNAL FLIGHTS

Since domestic flights are charter flights and can vary their schedule, Distal Caribe strongly recommends NOT to book domestic flights on the same day to connect with international flights. In the event that customers insist on confirming their domestic flight in connection with their international flight on the same day, it will be their responsibility and Distal Caribe will not assume additional costs for additional services that the customer must acquire for the loss of their international flight.

Important: domestic flights must be requested at least 20 days before the start date to be confirmed, otherwise they are subject to availability. Flight schedules are subject to change until the day before departure, with or without notice. We advise the customer to contact Distal Caribe 24 hours before the day of the flight, in order to confirm the departure time, the billing requirements of the airport and baggage.

In the event that Distal Caribe is aware of a change, it will do everything possible to inform the customer. It should be taken into account that, in case of delay in the departure of the flight announced from the airport, it will not always be possible for the airline to provide accommodation or food during the delay at the airport due to bad weather, traffic or other force majeure circumstances In this case, the customer will bear all the costs. Distal Caribe will not be responsible for additional expenses incurred due to flight modifications or loss of vacation time. If the customer purchases his ticket through Distal Caribe, he must leave a contact telephone number at the offices of our local representative, at the point of destination, in order to be able to contact him in case of changes. All reservations for connecting flights will be made at the customer's risk, which expresses its agreement with the assumption of expenses in the event of any type of loss, due to a change in the original flight itinerary. Distal Caribe will not be liable for damages or additional expenses incurred by the customer, due to the loss of his connecting flight.

To receive the included shuttle service, you must indicate the hotels where you will be staying in both destinations.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY OF OUR HOTELS, YOU MUST LEAVE A CONTACT NUMBER IN RESERVATION COMMENTS OR REQUEST YOUR TRANSFER TO A HOTEL NEAREST YOUR ACCOMMODATION

All tickets, including taxes and services, are non-refundable.

If the customer has to modify or cancel their travel plans, it will be their responsibility to inform Distal Caribe of this change in writing. Tickets are subject to discount, with restrictions up to 100% non-refundable and interchangeable.

Cancellations and changes made by the customer

Once the payment has been made, the following cancellation policy will apply:

  • If the customer cancels the reservation 3 days before the indicated departure date, Distal Caribe will reimburse 50% of the total reservation.
  • If the customer cancels his reservation within a period of less than 3 days from the indicated departure date, he will not be refunded.
  • Refunds for itinerary changes or for no-shows will be made at the discretion.

Refunds will be made only to the person who purchased the ticket or issued the order, which will provide the original payment documents.

 

RESPONSIBILITY

The providers of tourist services, hotels, car rental companies, airlines, carriers, are independent companies and do not form a legal or administrative part of it. Distal Caribe is not responsible for acts, errors, omissions, warranties, infringements or negligence of one of these suppliers, nor for damages to persons or things, death or other damages and costs derived from the aforementioned, equally the Distal Caribe module is not responsible and will not return money in case of delay, cancellation, overbooking, strikes, force majeure or other causes beyond its direct control as an intermediary between you and the service provider, and will not be liable for any additional charges, omissions , delay, change of itinerary or other acts of government or other authority.

Total reimbursements do not apply in situations where the trip must be canceled, interrupted or returned by Distal Caribe for reasons beyond its control (force majeure, weather conditions, hurricanes, earthquakes strikes, wars, acts of terrorism, etc.) and in which the service providers for the contractual conditions do not allow you to obtain reimbursement of the amount paid by you.
