Baracoa

Baracoa, declared a National Monument, is a quiet colonial city in Cuba. It is nestled between mountainous massifs with a great profusion of endemic vegetation, which turn the place into an exotic place with crystalline rivers and cozy beaches. The city of Baracoa is the oldest in Cuba, since it was the first town founded by Diego Velázquez in 1511, under the name of “Nuestra Señora de la Asunción de Baracoa”.
